Giro d’Italia

I have to confess the Giro d’Italia is my favourite Grand Tour because of the color pink and the Italian culture that I just adore. This painting backdrop is layers of carbon resin of many cyclists shaded in the Giro pink with only one cyclist prominent wearing the winning jersey of the Giro. At the bottom of the painting I have used the colors of the Italian flag to tip the hat to the Italian culture. This was an extremely difficult piece to do and perhaps one of my favourites.
